Not having a great day last week.. When I went out check to the mail box, voilà a “Happy” pastel pink box from Mrs At Last has arrived.  The colors immediately lifted my mood, and the day goes on smoothly.

Is there a weekly option? Honestly, I picked the most frequent option possible and I'm glad I did! I know there's an every 2 month option too, but how can anyone wait that long? Love getting the surprises, love everything inside the box.

The fun stuff is great but what is even better in my mind is the practical stuff. Face blotting paper to reduce shine and an emergency sewing kit just in case? That's really thinking things through.

We're skipping the big wedding and just going to elope. I briefly saw some of the contents of the boxes and it's got just the right amount of essential items that I'll need for the civil ceremony. The bonus is that I'll have stuff for before and after too!

What about groom boxes?

Have you considered creating groom boxes? Not boxes for guys, but actually usable boxes for grooms leading up to the wedding or on the wedding day itself? Nice stuff for the brides in the boxes that I got for my fiancee so far, but us grooms-to-be need some love too.

Well thought out, especially the wedding planning essentials

It's an overlooked detail, but really important to have a little planner with all the show flow details on the actual wedding day. As a wedding event planner myself, my biggest tip is to have a member of the bridal party keep this on hand, if you don't have a wedding planner on the actual day. Bought a set of boxes for my current client and really pleased to see the compact size binder and inserts that come in Box 1.

Several traditional wedding items throughout the boxes

I'm opting for a traditional wedding, which means incorporating all the details. I'll have a flower girl and a ringbearer and I was in search of a nice garter to wear. Couldn't believe it when Box 4 showed up because I got the ring pillow AND a modern-looking garter that I can totally wear under my sheath style gown!

Love the diamond pen in Box 2!

Everything in the boxes can be used for a party, the wedding itself or afterwards. Talk about versatility. But can we stop and mention the DIAMOND PEN? It's got good weight to it and we're definitely using it to sign our official papers.
